Gemini Turntables

I don’t know much when it comes to music but my son does; he’s into the sort of music that old fossils like me would frown upon. Anyway, call me silly or what but I though turntables were a thing of the past? Doesn’t everything comes in small CD nowadays? Why in the world did my son asked me to get him one of those Gemini Turntables? Said he needs one for his DJ-ing on the weekends.
