Don’t need a birthday to eat cake

There’s a couple of nice Malaysian restaurants that I go when I get cravings for some Malaysian chows and today I had that cravings. So I went to get some Bak Kut Teh and Salted Fish Beehoon for lunch. On the way there’s a cake place that makes the best cakes in Melbourne and best of all they’re cheap because they bake their cakes there themselves and they also supply to the cafes all over town. So whenever we need to get birthday cakes we’d get them from there.

Right, back to me going to get my Malaysian lunch..I drove past the cake shop and decided I wanted some cake too! It doesn’t have to be someone’s birthday to have a slice of cake right? So I went in and bought myself a cake, Cookie & Cream they call it. It’s actually a chocolate cake layered with oreo biscuits and cream. I tell you this is one of the best chocolate cakes I’ve ever tasted and you should try it too. It is light, not too heavy like some dark chocolate cakes and topped with  pure cream white chocolate ganache!

I asked for 2 slices but they only sell whole cakes so I bought the smallest one available; 5 inch in diameter but it’s still a bit too much for us to finish. It’ll probably take a few days for us to finish it so its good that you can freeze it and enjoy it a little a day. I can have my cake and eat it too!
